Review on Collapsible Colanders Extendable Draining Vegetable Kitchen & Dining by Melanie Jones

Revainrating 4 out of 5

There are pluses, there are minuses

Since there is not enough storage space in the kitchen, the idea of a collapsible colander is very attractive. Got this set to try. Come with two. Both are smaller than what we have now. Kids will love the smaller one when washing a handful of fruit for a snack. I wish the bigger one was even bigger. The fact that they break is a big plus. A downside is that there are no holes on the side of the strainer, so water can only drain from the bottom. The hole is quite small, so even if I shake the strainer, some water will always remain due to the tension of the water holding the water molecules together. I find them too small for normal use in the kitchen. However, I see them as very useful on a hike due to their compact size and the ability to fold them up.

Pros
  • GOLS certificate
Cons
  • There is a minus
