REALLY NOT WORTH IT

So all the reviews you read are warning you about this? YOU MUST FOLLOW THIS NOTICE! Do you think this kit will save you money? THIS REALLY DOESN'T LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES! So it's been MANY years since I became a wrenching pro! anyone hiring I remember again why I burned out as a nurse! At least steel doesn't give you 9 kinds of hell! Anyway, I had a BMW certificate, not an HD certificate. Also, the last bike was a Fat Boy with a carburetor and now I ride a Dyna LR 04 with EFI. SOME THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW. You can buy a BRAND NEW CHECK VALVE with a submersible FUEL HOSE that connects to your pump at a BIG retail store (and yes, the shipping costs suck!) for about double the price of this kit. Although it turned into a bit of an adventure and reminded me why I love wrenches so much, I really wish I had understood something beforehand! instrument panel) AND DISCONNECT the high pressure fuel hose from the pump, OK? BECAUSE if you just jump ahead and try to remove the check valve with no DC fuel hose in the tank, YOU WILL ALLOW the fuel line (ESPECIALLY IF IT'S AN OLD MODEL! Hoses get brittle!) like I did (I RECOMMEND YOU URGENT DO NOT). Once you have the DC dip hose and remove the check valve, DO NOT REMOVE THE LOCKING RING THAT HOLDS YOUR SMALL 2mm BEARING IN PLACE (I think) which is solely responsible for KEEPING YOUR QUICK DISCONNECT IN WORK order. THIS WILL NOT HELP YOU WITH A RESTRUCTURING! WHY? Because when you remove that snap ring and start digging up old o-rings, those tiny little suction cups GO UP! SO DON'T SEPARATE! NEXT PROBLEM: AFTER INSTALLING THE NEW SPRING and actual valve you will need to use a smaller o-ring to hold this tiny assembly in place. THIS IS A SUPER EASY PART! THIS IS A DAD-GUM BOTTOM O-RING THAT WILL GIVE YOU NIGHTMARE! Okay, maybe that's a bit dramatic! BUT I ASSURE YOU, THIS BOTTOM O-RING WILL GIVE YOU A HEADACHE AT LEAST! There's a tool you can buy to do just that, but it costs anywhere from $60 to $100! So even if you run a shop, IT IS MUCH CHEAPER to go to one of those giant bike parts stores (mine was the one with the "&" in it) and buy a new valve WITH A BRAND NEW HOSE AND CONNECTOR (to the pump) . THE CHANCES YOU DO THIS IN STORE AS A PRO IS NOT! SERIOUS! So it seems foolhardy to pay for a tool when you don't have a lot of money! You can only pay around $30 (plus shipping) and save yourself a ton of time and hassle! You still have to remove the dash tape and disconnect that fuel line WHAT YOU DO! Did I mention the bottom o-ring? Omg! LISTEN TO US ALL TELL YOU YOU SHOULD GET THIS NEW CHECK VALVE WITH A HOSE! Oh, what if you accidentally snap a fuel line? GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR VALVE STEM REPLACEMENT! To do this, you need to heat the hose. Gasoline people!
