Great little radio for the money. Mine came from the factory with a key of about 4 watts and pumped up to 10 or so. You can always connect the weather channel even if the antenna is detached from the ball mount. There's nothing fancy or technical about this radio, but it works well and is affordable. My biggest complaint is that the stock mic is absolutely terrible. I couldn't even test readiness on channel 19 until I tried again with a factory Galaxy mic. The difference between day and night. Upgrade your microphone and you have a reliable and affordable setup that will serve you well for years to come.
