Review on MTD 954-04060C Replacement Belt OEM Stens by Joshua Nation

Installed it by myself, and it fit my Cub Cadet 1042 perfectly. Been using it all summer, and I mow several acres at a time and have put about 40 hours on the mower since the install. I purchased another to have as a back up. NOTE: There were several different LTX 1042's made, so, the first time you need to replace your belt, go to the local dealer, and take your mower's serial number! I took a pictre with my cell phone. Then you know what part to order on line. Otherwise, you may get a belt that doesn't fit your mower (like I did, from my dealer no less) and I had to take it back and got another belt from the dealer that did fit. That way you won't order the wrong one and have to send it back.
