Whiteline C-pillar brace for 2006 Forester XT

Well made product. The measures described significantly reduce the tendency for the rear of the vehicle to "float". The "quick release" clips work well and make it easy to remove the bar if you need to stow a large item in the back with the seats folded. A very nice feature that other pole manufacturers don't have. It lacks complete and adequate installation instructions. Difficult to install - this is NOT a simple bolt on product! Precise and accurate trimming/fitting of the C-pillar support plastic trim, rear cargo area carpeting and canopy pillar metal trim is required. Approximate installation time (if done correctly) is approximately 12-14 hours. Tools Required - Phillips #2 screwdriver; tool(s) for removing nylon or plastic fairings; 3/8" drive 12mm socket/ratchet; small 3/8" torque wrench; sharp knife for carpet and/or rug; Dremel tool with double cut metal blade; scissors for cutting metal aviation; tin snips; 6 inch sharp scissors; 6" needle files and final cut files. Other useful items are factory repair manuals; lots of patience and skill. Well worth the work and time as the car drives MUCH better with the front and rear handlebars in place. It It is not recommended to only fit the front or rear bar as a single bar will NOT solve the 'floating' problem Spacer Whiteline KSB590Q
