You get what you paid for
An alternative ceiling mount for Sonos One is $150. So counting this one for $30 is a lot. Easy enough to mount, but the design calls for a metal top plate to hold the speaker in the mount. This panel has cutouts for access to the top speaker controls and microphone, but the cutouts are the wrong size and you lose access to the mute button for the Sonos One with built-in voice control. negligible overall, probably for an in-ceiling speaker, but shows the poor construction of this mount.
