Mandatory for sewing knitwear
I use a round tip needle to knit garments on my Brother cs6000i. Now that I've switched to a stretch needle, I find the stitches are much better and more even. The fabric doesn't wrinkle that much. I also bought a knitting foot. The stretch needle and presser foot have greatly improved sewing knitwear on my sewing machine. I don't have an overlock machine, but I can only successfully knit clothes with my sewing machine.
