When I first started shopping for masks I chose fabrics I liked and ended up with some form fitting masks that pressed onto my face and stuck in my mouth when I spoke . The color of the fabric faded quickly. Then I tried disposables. Cone-shaped N94 disposable masks are great, but they must be thrown away, they cannot be washed, so they are not an environmental solution. This is the best compromise I've found so far. The shape of the mask fits my face snugly but also has an air pocket in the front so I can speak. The only suggestion I have is more saturated colors in the fabric, but like I said, that's not a priority.
