Review on πŸ’» ASUS PCE-AX58BT Black Bluetooth Wi-Fi Adapter by Kiyoshi Goro ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Poor quality, not worth the money.

In fact, the adapter does not perform its function, it does not connect to W-iFi 6 from the Asus expensive and top-end RT-AX86U router, neither at 2.4 GHz nor at 5 GHz. If only the AX standard is forced on the router, the adapter sees the network, but cannot connect. But why is it needed then, if there are cheaper adapters to work on other standards. The issue with the buggy work of the AX200 with Wi-Fi 6 has long been discussed on various forums, but Intel does not fix it. What is really to blame, drivers, or the original incorrect design of the chip, I, as a simple user, do not know. I do not recommend buying, you will not see the connection in the new standard, or only with the help of regular dances with a tambourine.

Pros
  • The usual PCI adapter, the Chinese rivet the same ones with the same AX200 Intel chip, almost 3 times cheaper, and there is no other one with Wi-Fi 6 support.
Cons
  • There are no complaints about Asus here, but there is a craft from Intel. The release of crooked drivers for their Wi-Fi chips is apparently handled by a special department of the cheapest programmers available in India.
