Review on ๐Ÿ”ฆ Enhance Visibility with KC HiLiTES 452 Apollo Pro 5 - 55w Fog Light Pair Pack System, featuring Integrated Stone Guard and White Light Output by Justin Olson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Looks great, disappointing light output.

I installed this on my wife's Jeep Liberty. I needed a fog light to improve their night driving in bad weather and any other time as well. I chose the KC because they were the only stylish fog lights I could find that came with both stone covers and 5-inch headlights. My wife didn't want big banging headlights so the 5 inch size was perfect. Once unpacked these headlights looked fantastic. Superb quality, made in the USA, everything you need is included. Installing these lights was a breeze, the instructions and installation were exactly the same as the PIAA lights I have on my Jeep so it was very easy. It's easy to give this product 5 stars for looks, quality and installation. As soon as the sun went down, I went out and tried out the new headlights. The headlights were significantly "yellower" than the stock headlights on their Jeep 6 years ago. I was amazed because when I first turned on my PIAA bulbs I was amazed by their white glow, I realize it's a very different light (and price range) but I never expected them to be like this are weak. The lateral beam pattern in these nebulae is not as wide as I expected, my PIAAs have a steady luminous flux with no breaks, while these KC lights have noticeable breaks in the radiation pattern. I don't know what it's called, but it's annoying. Anyway I won't complain anymore because these headlights look amazing on her jeep and they aren't the worst, they still do a great job of filling the gap that the headlights don't cover even though they are dimmer , they are all still helps more than nothing.
