Review on Monroe 90002 Coil Spring Conversion by Cody Michels

After installing the spring kit, the handling has changed so much that it is dangerous. The A-pillars are so soft and flimsy that they often bounce at high speeds. Mine hit the bottom of the car going through a ditch. At higher speeds on a curve in the road, when the road is rough or slightly shaky, the vehicle tends to bounce off the road. After installing the springs, the rear of the car was 2.5 inches higher than the front, so I had to reinstall the springs and cut the top of the first circle to make it fit! This set of springs fits the car but is not designed for the Lincoln Mark VIII. Don't let the brand fool you. Shame on Monroe.
