Feel the heat of the sport

My buying motive is probably the opposite of most other bikers' motive of getting in shape, not staying in shape. It really gives you a workout, so get out the fans, towels, and bottled water. You'll need a set of sprockets from your rear wheel, or just buy one just so the trainer can get your bike back on the road quickly. again. I figured I'd need a special thru-axle to mount my new Trek Domane, but as it turns out, the handle sticking out of my Trek's rear axle is actually a detachable tool that is removed from the road. I don't know if this is something new, but no one on the bike forum (or some YouTube videos) seemed to know about it, so I ended up ordering a custom rear axle that I don't need. (I didn't get back to cycling for a couple of decades.) Using it freshly plugged in with no programs gives you some resistance enough to warm up, but you need programs to put in a really tough workout. Software: Forget the Bluegiga Bluetooth dongle you may have seen in the ad. Could never get it to work. I found the Avantree DG40S USB Bluetooth 4.0 to be perfect for me. They seem to have all the necessary software to make it work with any Windows 10 system. Setup was easy. It doesn't even need a long cord to get it close to the machine (like I've seen others do). I've used the trainer with Zwift with my Win10 gaming PC and an iPhone companion app that acts as a "middle man". "by connecting the desktop trainer to my 55" TV (since it's on the same WiFi network). This made setup fairly painless, and you can control the software from your steering wheel-mounted iPhone. I was put off by the free trial due to a fairly expensive subscription.I then tried Rouvy but had a lot of connection problems and was never able to connect it to my TV.I emailed the support team and the only solution was mine Connecting iPad to my TV with a long cable adapter. I didn't care about the small picture of my iPad on my big TV screen as it didn't fill the screen so I threw them away. Now I use FREE (yes FREE is good) RGT bike -App that connects instantly, connects to my iPhone and my desktop, to use my TV I have to HDMI c can from my desktop run from, but it works very well. and again, it's FREE as hell and not a bad app at all. It might not have all the scenery or social interaction of Zwift, but what it has looks very good so far. Did I mention it's FREE and it works? Even when the program is running, I prefer to watch films during my training than the virtual world, but to each his own. I'm really surprised by the scam in virtual racing. It would be so easy to hook up the drill to the H3 or any other trainer and win all the prizes on offer. I say that because I saw people zoom past me like they were flying on a rocket. I just can't imagine anyone pedaling that fast in real life. As far as I know, the software doesn't recognize this. Maybe someone is following all of this and is looking for someone who is constantly breaking records.
