SUPER disappointment

REALLY dissatisfied with this H3. It only calibrates for itself as zwift & rouvy cannot calibrate it. It seems stuck in ERG mode or some ridiculous mode where it's almost impossible to turn the cranks and the resistance drops off badly. It makes no sense and isn't fun if it's so hard you can't even pedal. I can't switch ERG to SIM in any way, and the manual doesn't mention SIM mode. It often fails to connect to the Saris app even when it is in Not Found mode. And what makes it special is that…

Great potential, the best in cycling

I'm so lucky to get a smart trainer. I hate the thought of driving inside but. Coronavirus. I received the machine a day earlier than Revain originally predicted. Thanks Revin Unpacking and installation was easy. Adding a cassette is easy. Got my first ride within 30 minutes of unboxing. The feeling of the trip was VERY real. I felt like I was riding outdoors and the performance metrics matched my outdoor stats perfectly. Then problems. History: 04/24/20. I assembled the unit following the…

Feel the heat of the sport

My buying motive is probably the opposite of most other bikers' motive of getting in shape, not staying in shape. It really gives you a workout, so get out the fans, towels, and bottled water. You'll need a set of sprockets from your rear wheel, or just buy one just so the trainer can get your bike back on the road quickly. again. I figured I'd need a special thru-axle to mount my new Trek Domane, but as it turns out, the handle sticking out of my Trek's rear axle is actually a detachable tool…

Great exercise bike

I was waiting for a review as it was a big purchase but I have now put 1042 miles (64 rides) on the Zwift with a total of 61 hours in the saddle. Setup: Pretty easy. I had never installed a cassette before, so I immediately bought a Luditek chain whip (ASIN: B07517WGKY). It only took about 10 minutes to remove the cassette from the wheel and install it on the H3. I've watched a few general videos on how to do this and there is also an unboxing video on the Saris website with great info. It…

Quality craftsmanship and design

There was a time when consumer products were designed by craftsmen on blank sheets of paper with graphite pencils, slide rules and elbow wax. People rolled up their sleeves and created things that were durable, reliable, and efficient. Take the Beechcraft Bonanza, for example, a beautiful iconic aircraft that will never go out of style. Or old Hoover vacuums, beautiful to look at and extraordinarily efficient. The saree is made in the same way. let me explain. A few months ago I bought a…
