These hatch locks are pretty much the only ones available on the market. They come with the Werner floor ladder, but break after a while. This is my third ladder in about 15 years and I only use the ladder a couple of times a year. This part is an original spare part from Werner. The first two that broke were also original parts (there aren't any others on the market anyway), but the quality could have been better. However, if they break, you have no choice but to get the same one again. These new ones are a little firmer than the old ones so I'm not overly optimistic about the lifespan of these, but like I said, you don't have a choice.
