Review on 🚴 Kenda K838 Blackwall 26-Inch x 1.95-Inch Slick Wire Bead Bike Tire by Draven Invert

Bought these for my DB Wildwood aluminum frame. I hope to have one more season before I update when the new models come out for Christmas. They replace the stock Kenda multi-purpose tires. Revain shipped them separately a week apart which was a shame but they arrived according to shipping specs. I ride mostly for fitness but occasionally in light dirt. What I have noticed so far: Significant improvement in handling. .In my 15 mile fitness run I ran about 2 miles per hour. Basically 3 on the sprocket with them versus 2 on older bikes. Quieter than series, but not silent. The wheel is more stable and holds the line better. I love the way they roll crunchy things on the sidewalk. Instead of rubbing it into the tread it just seems to go through without the crunch of my old tires. The installation was easy and went smoothly, I mounted the tread pattern arrow to the front. The sidewalls feel thin compared to my old tires. But I trust the manufacturer that they are well made. They are also lighter than older models. So overall a good buy for now. n. These are by no means narrow tires, they do have some width and will be fine on the trails I ride occasionally. Best. But I would recommend your MMV and will buy the 29er equivalent when my new bike comes out.
