I am leaving this review partly because I am very happy with this antenna and partly to help others as it has so little advertising and information online. For what I paid for was not what I expected with the polished stainless steel bracket and signature 304 stainless steel screws Looks much nicer in person than the pictures It's definitely designed for a boat! It's not pictured but mine was comes with a small rubber boot covering the connector Picks up satellites quickly (even indoors on a hill) and seems dead accurate I prefer this to the slightly cheaper generic plastic sticky backed antennas Unlike a sticky backplane antenna, this one is ship sided Tram antenna easy to assemble and long-term laying As shown in the picture , the screws are very long. When installing on a 7/8" or 1" rail, you'll probably want to replace the hardware or shear off the screws. It looks like the brace will fit a 1.5" rail, but the brace hits the cable before the full length of the screws can be used. There's no reason the screws should be that long. :)

Pros
  • 2" Tall Antenna
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging
