Review on 🔧 Lisle 61660 End Cap Wrench Set - 86mm Size with 16-Flute by Keith Harris

Based on the reviews I was initially skeptical that this socket wrench would fit. However, it works fine on my BMW x5 with 6 cylinder N55 engine (so it should also work on other BMWs with N55 and N54 engine). The lid was a bit loose (not completely tight). However, if this bothers you, wrap a thin piece of tape around the oil filter housing before placing this wrench on the filter housing. For me I had an extra can of plastic coated rubberized spray coating and sprayed the inside of the cap key multiple times. When the rubber coating was dry, the cap sat snugly against the oil filter housing. Also, it looks like Lisle also reinforced the 3/8" wrench with 6-point weld, so this thing is pretty solid. Much cheaper than a BMW OEM ring spanner and works the same way.
