Ideal for oil filter caps. If you have an aftermarket oil cap on a BMW (E90) this key may not work unless the aftermarket oil cap is a genuine BMW oil cap.

Fits perfectly, helped remove the oil filter when changing the oil. My old one was poorly welded and broke off on the second oil change, had to be replaced with this one. Improved torque wrench design and good performance. Quality is good, oil change is a breeze.

As the title suggests, fits both the 2009 BMW e90 328 and the 2007 BMW 335 e92. This product looks well made and the powder coating doesn't look cheap like it's peeling off. The metal is strong and thick, and also does not bend when in use.

I have only used this filter cap wrench once on my BMX X5 and was able to easily remove the filter cap and change the oil filter. It's not as durable as the others, but since I only use it twice a year it should serve me well. In summary, a thing with a fairly good price-performance ratio.

Got this to remove the filter housing on my Volvo. Although it works, it works a little more. It's not tight fitting and I can see that sweep when you encounter a very tight filter. Although the price is right. I saw a suggestion in another review to put a few layers of tape inside the filter key. I'll try next time and hope it provides a better match.

It came pretty quickly. I ordered it on Friday February 8th 2018 and it arrived the next day on Saturday February 9th 2019. Haven't used it yet but checked to see if it fits the oil cap housing on my 2010 BMW X5. , and it fits like a glove. I have a 6 cylinder N52 engine with an inclined position. Based on the reviews I was initially skeptical that this socket wrench would fit. However, it works fine on my BMW x5 with 6 cylinder N55 engine (so it should also work on other BMWs with N55 and N54 engine). The lid was a bit loose (not completely tight). However, if this bothers you, wrap a thin piece of tape around the oil filter housing before placing this wrench on the filter housing. For me I had an extra can of plastic coated rubberized spray coating and sprayed the inside of the cap key
