Phillips does not work. They're supposed to loosen when turned counterclockwise, but they don't. That's what I needed most and I won't use them unless I'm pretty sure they won't come out. The largest of the three, designed to fit the tool under the center section, seems to work, although I haven't tried it on a car. I don't need a third
