Review on 🎶 Tuneful Cables Sound Isolation Pads – Cork Pads for Turntables, Prevent Vibration & Skipping (Pack of 4, 1 Inch) by Dee Parson

My turntable sits on a wooden cabinet with a hardwood floor underneath. I had to tiptoe to keep the needle from bouncing off the vibration. I installed these isolating pads under the feet of the turntable and tried to walk about 2-3 feet away from the platter and stomp my foot lightly. I was disappointed to find the pin was still bouncing. I was about to return the item when I decided to try something else. I cut square pieces of regular household cleaning sponges to fit the insulating pads and place them under the cork pads. Guess what? It was like a miracle cure. No more jumping. I danced around the turntable's body to check it out and even started bouncing a little. and so far the disk has been running without a break. Maybe isolating pads are more effective in other uses/settings, but this setup worked like a charm for me!
