This would be a great product for hurricanes. Where did you get a notification. That way you have time to set it up. Mine came with a broken nut so I sent it back. But while it was amazing, I don't think it applies to my situation where a city is being flooded. Actually we don't have any notification so no time to install it. So I would have to keep it in the door and step over it the whole time. Which isn't the end of the world considering the flood waters are about to rush through my door. But I just think it might be easier for people exposed to predictable flooding. Although I think this is a fabulous product.
