slim 2.5k QHD with some cool features most others don't have

This is a small and slim DVR. If you are looking for a dash cam with features that other dash cams don't have, this is the one for you. It uses Sony's premium sensor (Starvis CMOS) and a 150 degree lens, which is pretty good. I've seen some at 160 and even 170 degrees, but the image is usually a bit distorted when the angle exceeds 150. While it touts 2.5k, and indeed 2.5k, it should be noted that it can only do 2.5k at 25fps, which is relatively low. Personally, I prefer higher frame rates over pixels, especially when it comes to capturing still images of video footage, e.g. B. License plates or a person's face. The most important function is the detection of speed cameras, where a "speed camera warning" is displayed. This is actually a police radar detector lol. It also has other cool features like setting up a smart alarm to warn of driver fatigue or a reminder to turn on the headlights. The lane departure warning feature is also one of the most unique and good if you have an older car that doesn't have a built-in lane departure warning. Lane Departure Warning add-ons alone cost around $100 to add to your car these days. Not only does the G-sensor start recording video on every impact, it also has the ability to record video based on speed threshold or aggressive braking, which is cool and can be really useful. with ar in front of you, he starts sending you messages one after the other. The image and video quality is very good and the raw data and data transfer to/from the camera is very simple and straightforward. A small downside in my opinion is a bad battery, in my experience this DVR doesn't last more than 15-20 minutes without power. I assume that given its small and compact size, it can't have a bigger battery. Another minor downside related to the small size is the small screen, which is fine and gets the job done, but it's almost impossible to review and view video on the dash cam's screen. Overall I recommend this for all the nice unique features it has over most other dashcams. Among other things, the lane departure warning system alone should justify a purchase if your car doesn't have that option, and the police camera detector is the icing on the cake!
