I use them for a variety of things in my art studio: small watercolour/paint palettes that are easy to clean and store, substrates for materials like alcohol and liquid inks on acrylics and also as inserts in my large watercolor palettes for extra compartments (I just use double sided tape to attach the extra compartments to the acrylic and then when I close the palette I just leave the "insert" with the extra compartments on it in it case, and it usually fits well and gives me more room to add more colors). They're thin and somewhat flexible, but still strong so they won't bend under pressure when you're using them as a base for something you want to attach them to, such as a desk. B. Watercolor pans. I tried cutting them with scissors just to see what would happen and although my table shears made a small cut it was extremely difficult and unlikely to end well for scissors or acrylic. So if you're cutting them with scissors or pruning shears, schedule a few snips or use heavy-duty scissors.
