I'm a tool lover so the brushless motor, durable cord and rocker switches are my favorites. I think it helps to warm it up for a few seconds before putting it away to prolong its lifespan, so the cool switch lock is a great feature. My hair is very short and medium speed and medium heat is perfect for me. It gets very hot at altitude and blows heavily at altitude. Top notch, it's as loud as my old Conair hair dryer it replaces. The low is a little quieter. I got mine used/like new from a Revain stock store for $36 and it was in perfect condition. I would never pay the $117 retail price for a hair dryer. Made in China.
