Good tool for the money, seems accurate.

The tool is quite small, about 6 inches long, so it only measures wear on a few links. If it were longer, it would be more accurate. At the moment it reports the expected wear: the 0.75 side nose barely fits the new chain. I can't put the 1.0 side nose on the new chain. I wish there was a cheaper Shimano CN41 version, it's the only chain wear tool I'd pay more for.
