This is exactly what I needed to watch Blu-ray on my XBox Series X connected to a computer monitor. I keep getting an HDCP error. I have a Blu-ray player in my living room, but sometimes it's nice to watch a movie in bed. A little background on my setup: I have a Series X connected to an Elgato 4K60 Pro on my computer for twitch streaming. The HDMI output then goes to my third PC monitor, a Scepter Curved 27" 185Hz. I get an HDCP error even when I try to just plug the Series X directly into HDMI 1.4 or 2.0 ports (has a Displayport, but I dedicate it to my computer) I read that this splitter can be used with an HDMI downconverter to get rid of such HDCP errors, but it turned out to be the only one I needed. I don't even need an extra cable to connect them directly to Series X -> Splitter -> Elgato -> Monitor The splitter itself has solid metal construction and works great.
