I have an HP laptop with a docking station with 2 display ports. I bought two new Lenovo monitors and connected a displayport cable and the monitor wasn't working properly, the screen kept flickering on and off. Tested on another computer, monitor and cable work fine. The HDMI input also worked on the monitor so I bought this cable and another from Cabletime. Cabletime didn't work, but this one did. I was able to set the resolution to 2560 x 1440 at 75Hz which is the maximum supported by the monitor. (also worked 59Hz and 60Hz)
