Review on Enhance Your Raspberry Pi with Kuman's 7" Capacitive Touchscreen Display by Young Nguyen

The advertised resolution of 1024 x 600 could not be reached. I've tried various solutions in the config.txt file, starting with copying and pasting the vendor's recommendation. Framebuffer resolution 1024x600 did not help. Strangely, changing vanilla config.txt gives the same result as the modified one. I use MoodeAudio and wanted to use local display. The resolution I get is fine for my purposes, mostly text screens. If I was interested in album covers, I would think differently. Local viewing gives Moode an improvement in response time over using a browser on a phone or tablet, so I'm happy with that. Little quibbles. Having a manual in Word format instead of PDF (for graphics) or text is a bit awkward. I can read Word files, but I'm sure not everyone in the world of tiny single board computers has the software loaded.
