Confused how to fix

They fit well but there is no way to attach them to the floor, my x3 discs are velcro. In one of the above questions these mats should have something to protect them but I can't find anything. If anyone reading this can help me I appreciate it. What's the point of these mats if they each have two open holes through which dirt and liquid can pass?
