Review on 🍶 Contigo Purity Glass Water Bottle, 20 oz, Smoke - Silicone Tether Included by Marc Hawkins

I bought two of these bottles (for me and my husband) because I prefer to drink water from glass. The first few weeks were incredible. The bottles travel well, look good, and keep my water free of plastic taste (which keeps me drinking more often - a plus). There are no plastic parts on the bottle - only glass, rubber and metal. I chose this bottle over other options because the top is connected to the base. This prevents me from dropping (and subsequently losing) the screw cap. However, when I held one of the bottles in my hand the other day, the handle broke. The metal pin that connects the rubber grip to the bottle broke and now the bottle doesn't work as I intended (i.e. the cap can be completely separated from the bottle as nothing holds it together anymore. I only had the bottle for a short time over a month and i wasn't too rough with the handle for it to break it's really unfortunate because it's a 5 star bottle without a break.
