He eats the battery like crazy! When fully charged

I have had many scanners over the years and a few later. This one didn't impress. He eats the battery like crazy! When fully charged, about 2 hours remain on one channel. If scanned, 30 minutes. The battery life on this sucks. It's also difficult to program. I like its features. So, that's the part I like about it. But that's about it. I would forgo that and go for the BCD436HP instead.
