Very interesting device, works 50/50 as it activates 8 free GB of data for US. . He primarily used the T-Mobile network, with a few exceptions when he used AT&T. (This doesn't work with Verizon) upon my request to get a SIM card from them and add it to my data plan. I've used it with my phone, my kids' desks and my iPad connected to it and so far the results have been good (for what I need), nothing out of the ordinary or anything. A far cry from advertised download speeds of 150 Mbps; not even close... I got an average download speed of 35-40 Mbps with 1-3 devices connected at the same time and only 2-5 Mbps with 2 strips and 1 device connected at the same time, so NO! You CANNOT run 10 devices (effectively) simultaneously; You can probably connect 10 devices, but you'll get 3 Mbps or less per device. It has worked well so far, but I live in the suburbs, a big city is very close by, and there are almost no dead spots on all carriers in my area, so I haven't been able to test it in the country yet, that's the main reason why i bought it because when i go camping in the woods i can access direct tv without using or killing my phone battery as it is used as a hotspot. One of the biggest disappointments so far has been the battery life; It should last 8-12 hours with up to 10 connected devices, but so far the battery has only lasted 4-5 hours with 2-3 devices connected at the same time. I'll be testing it for another week before the return window closes and will update if it's worth keeping as I can't use it with Verizon because they don't support this device on their network and it's going to suck, if i pay the thing is $170 and can't rely on it being connected to a good network. One last thing I don't like is that it sleeps too quickly and the touchscreen doesn't wake up the device, you have to look for the power button and then swipe to open it again, it's not that efficient and very distracting when you should be doing it every few seconds.
