I recently bought a new HP Pavilion computer with Windows 10 and it didn't have a slot for my memory card huh I use it in my Sony digital camera. I bought my camera about 10 years ago and it still works and records better than my iPhone. This is a Sony DSC-H2O with 10x digital zoom. My camera uses a 4GB Sandisk Pro Duo memory card. I bought this adapter and while it doesn't fit in the USB port under my screen, it does fit in the USB port on the back of the monitor. (My monitor is the type with a hard drive and a drive built into the monitor.) Once I plugged it in, it started loading the driver I needed and I popped in my card and all my photos and videos downloaded to my computer. I also like that it has a clear plastic cover that covers the USB connector when not in use. I'm so glad it worked for me and I no longer have to go to my slow old Vista computer to download photos to a flash drive to transfer to my new computer. That makes it a lot easier for me! For me it's definitely worth it!
