Will not work unless connected to a car charger. The control buttons only worked once. I decided to set the date and time later because I wanted this to work, but I'm having no luck now. Allows zooming in and out, but all other features don't work and I can't get back to the menu. . (Yes, there is a lock button and it's unlocked. You need 2 hands to operate it because when you press the left button, you press the same button on the right. The power button doesn't work. A note with a star on the windshield AMAZING! Update I finally got pulled over, I was out of state and the officer said I ran a red light, no it wasn't yellow, and I tried it, I figured no problem, me will be back home in 20mins i'll grab a dashcam and take this case to court to my dismay there was footage from a month ago and only recent footage was the last 5mins of my trip home so again IMHO this product does not cost anything.
