The Check Engine Light is on. Checked with my OBDC scanner. There was a code P0441 and a misfire in cylinder 1 P0301. I took it to my mechanic because it could be anything. He scanned it with his thousand dollar scanner and told me it was actually a vapor canister and coil. He told me it would be $95 and $145 for parts and $200 for installation. I told him to go skydiving and drove my car home. I checked the Autozone, the parts are $75 and $95, but it takes two days. I checked Amazon, parts are $15 and $15! Indeed? For real! Two days later, parts in hand, both took 15 minutes to install. Plugged my OBDC scanner back in, cleared the codes and they haven't come back since. I will never go to this mechanic again.
