Review on HIC Nylon Mesh Strainer 4 Inch by Lloyd Edwards

I bought this nylon strainer to filter the kefir fungus out of the kefir itself. The problem is that the nylon webbings are bonded together so tightly that thick liquids have a hard time getting into the container. Kefir can have a buttermilk consistency, and that consistency is not ideal for this strainer. If I were making broth, iced tea, or any other liquid that I needed to filter out the smallest particles from, that would work fine. product, just my own error with the dimensions. I'll probably keep it in my pantry in case I need a very fine strainer, but I definitely wouldn't buy it for my main daily use.
