Love the texture! Easy upgrade to old, beat-up furniture. I used this contact paper to spruce up my old particle board desk and laptop cart. I am very pleased with the results! I peeled all the old coating off my laptop cart and started laying the first section of contact paper per the instructions. I had a yellow squeegee thing from doing some window clings in the past which came in handy for pressing down the contact paper as I peeled the backing (jazz guitar pick for size compare). The first bit of the roll had some creases which left some bubbles in the final product. I used a heat gun on it and it shrank the bubbles up so they dont stand out much now.The 2nd part of my project was covering my corner desk. I managed to cover the whole top in one go without the need to cut extra bits. I cut slits along the rounded edge every 1.5in or so to make sure it fit flat around the edge. Went on easy and no bubbles. The surface of the desk is a bit marred (screw holes, water damage) and the contact paper does still show those imperfections, but it looks a lot better.With the leftover triangle pieces I cut from doing the rounded top, I was able to piece together a covering for the keyboard tray. Not perfect but I am thrilled.I only marked down a star bc of the creases but I could probably have heat it up a little prior to placing and it may have gotten rid of them. Would buy again and probably will. Thinking of doing a cabinet.
