Worked great right out of the box. After a few weeks, the hygrometer no longer correctly displayed relative humidity below 10%. I use this in a "dry box" that contains a heating rod, a small fan, and a large jar of desiccant. The thermometer still works great - the displayed temperature is only a few degrees from the actual temperature. However, prolonged exposure to extremely dry conditions seems to have caused the humidity indicator to fail - it constantly reads >70% RH inside the box and when I take it out to check it the RH hits 10% and starts to rise normally. The box itself is obviously not in the 70%+RH range as the desiccant still works well (colored silica balls - they would change color in minutes if it were that humid). The sensor seems to switch from low to high once the relative humidity reaches a certain lower threshold for an extended period of time. Probably suitable for use in normal room conditions, but too error-prone in extreme conditions, especially when accuracy is important.
