Cheap stuff but does the job.
Crappy plastic but did the job of protecting my son's arms and elbows (we couldn't use knee pads because they were too small). You get what you pay for. It's cheap, as is the material, but he only used it for a week or two when he was learning to ride a bike. It's big for a 5 year old (50 inches and 60+ pounds).
