The insoles are good for my daughter who is just starting to ride a bike. The elastics on the knee pads rubbed a bit on a sore spot on the back of the knee, but other than that they work fine. Can be used with pants or leggings, not on bare skin.

I bought these pads for my 6 year old granddaughter with a pair of inline skates. They were so uncomfortable and tight that she could only wear them for 10 minutes. came upset. I went to Walmart and bought a higher quality product that cost a little more and it turned out to be great. Don't waste money.

Crappy plastic but did the job of protecting my son's arms and elbows (we couldn't use knee pads because they were too small). You get what you pay for. It's cheap, as is the material, but he only used it for a week or two when he was learning to ride a bike. It's big for a 5 year old (50 inches and 60+ pounds).

These pads offer really good protection and appear to be well made. My 6 year old fits these knee pads well, however the knee pads are slightly smaller than the elbow/wrist pads. I'm guessing we'll only go a year or so without knee pads. Also, my boys complained a lot about itchy knee pads. They had no issues with wrist and elbow pads.

My 2 year old is very active. This winter she will snowboard. I wanted to make sure she was having fun with minimal scratches and bruises. The farm tests went very well. She took them in immediately after we explained that they were there to prevent "boo-boo". As I expected based on the product description, it's a bit big for her, but everything stays on top of clothing and protects well.

I bought them medium size for my 5 year old. You're a bit big for him; However, I consider it nothing more than a "grow room". I am very impressed with the durability and the color combination. They fit well and come in a mesh pouch to store the pads in when not in use. My son loved her! He wore them all day, even when he wasn't skating. He even asked if he could wear them to bed with his pajamas tonight! Good product! Durability, reasonable price, great size, and security features.
