Initially, I had trouble getting it to work reliably. But while I searched the internet for tips, it finally worked. But it's not reliable. The problem with Chromecast is that the image sometimes stutters, freezes frequently, or just freezes forever. - all the time the video is displayed correctly on my laptop. Nothing I tried could solve these problems. No other wireless device in my house has connectivity or bandwidth issues, so I think the real problem is that Chromecast is still best left to early adopters or used in situations where other solutions aren't practical. now in a box and I am using this cable again. What a joy to be able to stream reliably to my TV again. The picture no longer freezes and the video even looks cleaner. Removing the cable after each use is a very minor inconvenience given the difficulty of restarting Chromecast or restarting Google Chrome in hopes of getting the video back on my TV. At the same time, of course, I missed streaming content.
