Review on 🍳 Kitchenexus 30-Inch Range Hood: Ducted/Ductless Convertible Stainless Steel Kitchen Vent Hood with LED Lighting and Reusable Filters (300CFM) by Simo Whisperer

It sucks! the best in stoves, ovens and hobs

The fan on my old cooker hood has failed, as has the motor that was replaced. This device improved the look of the kitchen and provided better lighting and much more airflow. The filters look great and the spare bulbs were a must for me. However, it's not just the sun and the rainbow. The thing is loud. So if you want performance at the cheap and damn noise this is the ticket. But if you need quiet, go somewhere else. Materials are generally cheap, sheet metal is relatively thin, but honestly it doesn't hold any weight so it's not a big deal. I made dock stars for easy installation. Although there is a power cut at the top, the cord exits at the back and is hardwired. I might have voided the warranty by chopping it off and drawing a hard line, but I knew what I was doing. Also, the mounting points are only on the top of the device, not on the back or sides. I had to install boards under the cabinet to make it work as the old block was installed on the side. At that angle it would be possible to drill holes in the sheet metal from the side, but I'm pretty sure this will immediately void any warranty. Mine was rear vented and there were no bolts for the shock. I've found some that work, but am moving to others. All in all a decent product once installed and performs well for the price even if it's noisy.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • poorly thought out
