Review on 🔪 GBC Paper Shredder 80X - Auto Feed, 80 Sheet Capacity, Cross-Cut, Personal Use (1757574) by Roy Whetstone

Great concept, mediocre execution. When I saw an ad for this shredder, I immediately reacted to why he hadn't thought of it many years ago! Printers and copiers have had good document feeders for decades and great ones for the last decade, so why not shredders! Unfortunately, for some reason I don't understand, Swingline chose to ignore the existing infeed technology and attempt to pull the paper out from the bottom center of the sheet. I have no idea why, unless it's related to not having to unzip documents thicker than the 6 page capacity of the shredder mechanism? Well, sometimes it works, but most of the time it freezes. He will try to clear himself a few times before (mostly) giving up and you need to intervene. Also, the drawer doesn't grab all the paper and leaves a trail of confetti every time you empty the shredder. Recycling requires the shredded paper to be in a transparent bag. A great idea! Friendly, a mediocre implementation of the design.
