Review on Enhanced ACDelco GM PF457GO Engine Oil Filter with Cap Seal O-Ring by Brian Nicholas

This is the correct oil filter for 2009 Chevrolet HHR 2.2L Ecotec. Use the correct oil and filter in these engines. This filter works very well with the recommended 5W-30 motor oil (I use Mobil 1 Synthetic 5W-30). Beware of oil change stations that use cheap paper filters, especially those with synthetic oil. I found out that my dealer had done this for a 5000 mile oil change so I started doing it myself. There is a lot of information on the subject of oil changes on the Internet. A special socket wrench (available from Revain) is required to remove the oil filter cover on most 2.2 liter Ecotec units.
