OEM Installer: Parts

Precise OEM filter, but be careful when installing: Lubricate the small O-ring and push it all the way into the engine block before unscrewing the cap, the old filter ( from the dealer installed) of it did not and the filter was squeezed on the side and essentially did not filter anything. Only use AC filters on GM products.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Nothing here

Ideal OEM filter.

The perfect OEM filter. I have used this in both a 2005 Cavalier 2.2L and a 12 Malibu 2.4L. This comes with a new housing cover gasket. I would recommend buying the correct cap bushing to make the filter change easier and not damage it. Make sure the outlet has a low profile.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Retrofittable

Simply choose ACDelco.

The reason I chose ACDelco is because it is an OEM oil filter for my 2015 Chevy Equinox 2.4L and is about the same price as an aftermarket and others say, that it doesn't come out squashed or twisted (I'll have to see for myself next time I change the oil). Why take risks in the secondary market? Why not just go to ACDelco?

Great replacement filter

Pros: Fits well, easy to install, much cheaper than a shop replacement Cons: Bring rags, it gets messy This is a great way to save money when using your Doing work own car care. Make sure you have a good spot for the old filter as it will be covered in oil when removed. Including replaceable seals.

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

This filter fits my Pontiac Solstice 06 that I used.

This filter fits my Pontiac Solstice 06, I have used aftermarket oil filters twice and both are from different manufacturers but both were easily twisted and bent. I read a bulletin about using aftermarket filters, they seem to have a tendency to do what mine used to do, but the ACDELCO filter eliminates that and it's true. Previous oil changes when I used an ACDELCO filter did not curl or warp. So use the OEM here, lads and gals, for the 2.4-litre Ecotec.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Correct Oil Filter for 2009 Chevrolet HHR 2.2L Ecotec

This is the correct oil filter for 2009 Chevrolet HHR 2.2L Ecotec. Use the correct oil and filter in these engines. This filter works very well with the recommended 5W-30 motor oil (I use Mobil 1 Synthetic 5W-30). Beware of oil change stations that use cheap paper filters, especially those with synthetic oil. I found out that my dealer had done this for a 5000 mile oil change so I started doing it myself. There is a lot of information on the subject of oil changes on the Internet. A special…

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Goes Away
