Connector is a less expensive version of Weipu connectors. It has an all-plastic housing, no IP protection class and no identifying marks. A little soft to the touch but a good secure lock when inserted. It's perfect for hobby projects where you need small connectors. I don't think the other reviewers talking about the difficulty of soldering small pins are a valid reason for such negative reviews. If you don't need a small package, order a larger plug with screw terminals or large pins. If you need a small size then this is it. A few tips for soldering those little pins. Tin the end of the wire and pre-fill the cup with solder. Then hold the tip of the iron by the pin and place the wire on the other side of the tip of the iron so they both heat up at the same time. Once the solder has melted, quickly remove the iron and push the wire into the cup. If you can't press well, place the tip of the iron under the rim of the cup and press the wire from above. The solder melts again, resulting in a nearly perfect connection. The pins can also rotate a bit, making the task difficult. I recommend bringing the male and female sides together. In most cases, this will lock the pins so they don't rotate on you. I used 0.6mm and 16 AWG solder. Additionally, other manufacturers document the need to attach heat shrink tubing to each male connector. This is difficult to achieve when the working distance between the wire and the outer sheath is small. If you have a short cable, I prefer to push the jacket back 1 inch more than necessary when soldering. This allows me to put a short piece of shrink tubing over the wire to keep it from shrinking while soldering. Heat shrink tubing over the connection and then put the sheath back on. For the 5 pin version I would recommend using 16 AWG wire. You can make 18 AWG, but this will test your patience. I'm not a soldering expert. I'm just sharing my experience from hobby projects to help interested people.
