Review on ALPS OutdoorZ Accessory Binocular Pocket by Douglas Norton

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Well made, if a bit small.

Surprisingly well made for this price. I cut off the ends of the straps and threaded them through the buckles so they could be tightened securely and the ends tucked back into the space in the back of the bag. He's pretty small. I put in a Vortex Diamondback HD 8x42 kit with lens caps and they just fit. I'll leave them there for a while and see if they loosen up a bit. It works well with the Pathfinder pack. The only improvements I would like are a little more room and a different set of straps to allow the binoculars to be attached like most other binocular backpacks. I really like the magnetic closure. It's fast, quiet and safe.

Pros
  • A lot of positive emotions
Cons
  • A little maintainability
