Review on BrewDemon 2 Gal. Ye Olde Devil Nut Brown Ale Beer Recipe Kit - Makes A Wicked-Good 4.6% ABV Batch Of Craft Brewed Beer by Darrell Bridges

This is a tasty beer but it only has a 3.7% alchohol content. The only difference between this and the brown ale PLUS version, sold by the same seller, is about .9% alchohol. The plus version being 4.7%. I enjoyed both of these beers and will buy more. My only suggestion is to add a bit more DME or LME to spike the % up a bit. Use a hydrometer. In my experience the only downside to higher % is a little longer bottle aging time for the alcohol to mellow out a bit, but 3 weeks bottle conditioning time is so worth it for me. I add a small amount of amber DME or LME (about a cup of no hydrometer, but seriously buy a hydrometer) to bring the abv to about 5%. Happy brewing! O and I received this item because I bought it and will buy it a lot more.
