If you are looking for a small heater for little money, this is the heater. Again, this is a personal heater and will not warm the room. It's perfect for a bedside table, a table, or even on the floor at your feet. It's a bit noisy but there's a fan inside so you'd have to do it, but it's very quiet. It has a feature to automatically turn off the tilt in the event of a rollover. It does have a plastic/vinyl smell but I'm sure it will fade over time. I have bought other similar sized heaters and they also had the same smell. After several uses, the smell is gone. The only thing I noticed is that the heater does not turn off automatically after a long period of use. It states that the heater will turn off if it overheats. I let it run for 5 hours once and it never turned off. This may mean that the automatic temperature cut-off does not work or the heater is in very good condition and does not reach an overheating situation. Good heater for the price.
