Review on Renewed Logitech G PRO X Wireless Lightspeed Gaming Headset with Blue VO!CE Mic Filter for Immersive Gaming Experience by DoYun Hwang ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

I did not find the advantages of the product, I do not recommend it.

Well, what can I say, for such a cost, these ears have too many problems. The most painful drawback for me was the almost complete lack of bass. The sound is flat. The equalizer in Logitech's software is made in such a way that this version of the G Pro X has only FIVE sliders, and the very first one starts at 80 hertz. Actually, because of this, you won’t be able to adjust the bass in G Hub, because the necessary frequencies are missing. Say hello to marketers. The wireless version, which costs twice as much, has 10 sliders in the software, including 32 hertz and 64 hertz. If you use any third-party software with an equalizer with a USB card, the sound will break and stop playing 6 out of 8 channels. In games, you will hear only what is in front of you, and silence behind you. Through a USB card, these ears are ALWAYS defined in Windows as a 7.1 device, even if the surround sound is turned off everywhere, the software will downsample the sound in stereo, so you will get a very mediocre maximum volume, incorrect positioning. The only way to get a normal sound is to connect to a 3.5 jack and adjust everything with third-party equalizers, you will get normal true stereo and the entire frequency spectrum, but then you will lose the Blue Voice microphone with excellent post-processing, like the whole Ghub as a whole. After 3.5 jack there are no questions to them in terms of sound, with a normal equalizer the sound is excellent. But then there are questions about the price, because half of the chips are thrown overboard. _________________________________________________________________________________________ These ears are essentially a product of marketers, here they cut out half of the necessary settings programmatically, crippled the equalizer so that the wireless version looked more advantageous against their background. Actually, it’s better to take the wireless one if you really want the G Pro X. In general, I recommend to look at other models, the second time I would not buy them. On the pictures there is a cropped equalizer from this version and a complete one with a wireless one, for comparison.

Pros
  • - Quality of materials - Excellent microphone with a lot of settings (only with Blue Voice software via USB stick) - Fabric ear pads included - Good build quality - Good sound WITHOUT USB card
Cons
  • - Strong pressure on the head, a month on a pile of books did not make a difference at all. The cups do not rotate horizontally and will put pressure on the jaw for many. - The bowls are small and shallow, chances are high that you too will touch the bottom of one of the cups with your ear - No bass! The sound through the USB stick is terrible, worse than any cheap ears I've tried. - The equalizer in the Logitech G Hub is severely clipped for the wired version of these ears

Different pros: Good sound, really liked the bass. In a proprietary application, you can customize everything for yourself Different cons: Unusually squeezed the head, but after a week I got used to it

Its pros: Good sound for games and calls, good microphone. The headphones do not feel heavy on the head and you can safely work all day (with appropriate breaks). Has some cons Sometimes the right ear turns off for a few seconds if you press it a little.
